If I wash my hands and face regularly with anti bacterial soap, n shower regularly will this significantly help not to catch swine flu?

one of my teachers got back from mexico the other day, saying she had no flu like symptoms and no ill feelings whatsoever. she only taught us for a lesson. two days after, she wasn't at school. could she have gotten swine flu?even if she had no symptoms yet, could my classmates & i have it as well?and also.. how is swine flu transmitted?tyvm.lol. she didnt touch me haha. she just handed out the whole class some paper notes, and some mexican packaged candy, which i didnt eat.
