The vaccine has now been extensively used in both infants and pregnant women throughout the world and there is now little doubt as to its safety.

In my country everyone between 6 months and 24 years have been vaccinated. It's recommended.

Swine flu is a big con and the jab is just a money making scheme.....doctors have said the amount of crap in the contents of the injection lowers your immune system and actually isn't good for the body....the whole swine flu virus is just another money making scheme for the pharmaceutical companies...... The human body is very resistant and getting a flu and a cold is good for the body it helps build up your immunity to illness...... I think you shouldn't do it.....

I'm not sure if 11 months is old enough. Ask your doctor, see what he/ she reccomends.

Please ignore the tinfoil hat brigade that is posting about how bad vaccines are when they have absolutely no real education in the area. Children have more severe H1N1 infections in many cases and it may be a good idea to have your son vaccinated, especially if he goes to day care or somewhere with lots of other people. As always, discuss your child's medical concerns with your pediatrician. Take anyone's advice on here with a grain of salt.
