Question: Swine flu vaccine for children!?

My 3 year old daughter has been offered the swine flu vaccine but im really scared and don't know to give her it or not. She is up to date with all her other vaccines like MMR but iv read so much horror stories that i don't know what to do. She has no health problems but she is my life and i cant bare to lose her or for it to go wrong. Can anybody please give me advice? thank you

This vaccine is unquestionably very safe and has now been used internationally without any significant issues. The disease is still very active, though it has dropped out of the news with around 4,000 new cases here in Scotland both last week and the week before!

Don't listen to horror stories. Millions of people (including me) have had the vaccine without any ill effects

The horror stories you have heard are based on emotional conspiracy hysteria and not science based evidence. Millions of people have had this vaccine with no ill effects. Vaccines in general are well understood, you should follow your Doctors advice and give your daughter the vaccine. The swine flu pandemic isn't over yet, and young people and children are at a higher risk of developing complications. There is no good reason not to give your daughter this vaccine.
