Question: What should happen to drug companies who faked the swine flu pandemic?

I consistently believed the swine flu "pandemic " was a fake, nothing more than a cleverly orchestrated PR campaign using fear to offload the rapidly going out of date Tamiflu. Now the truth is out. Why should these global giants be able to get away with this. Should they be made to buy back their useless, untested drugs from our foolish and easily manipulated Government? And does their call of wolf put us all in danger in the future? The death toll now stands at 251; and the UK Government is now trying to offload up to £1 billion worth of unwanted swine flu vaccines. Among the three UK experts with industrial links is Prof. Sir Roy Anderson, rector of Imperial College, London, also non- executive director of GlaxoSmithKline. He received £87000 for six board meetings in 2008 and £29000 worth of shares. Since the swine flu outbreak the shares have risen in value by more than 10 percent.

For those who chose to investigate....the doctors and researchers were there telling us that this particular H1N1 swine flu 'alleged' epidemic was questionable right from the beginning. To be honest I believed this from day one, it had the added bonus of taking our minds of the Government Theft scandals via expenses. The Government will never say they got it wrong

Money money money, greedy companies and a government who like to keep it's people scared and panicked at fake threats of health pandemics or terrorism. I'm not saying that there wasn't a bad infection going around, as there were people dying, but it was hyped up to cause unnecessary panic.

Hi if you dig a hole and pay for it to be dug then fill it in and pay for that to where does the money you pay out go ? to the workers who dug the hole and the ones who filled it in so who is making the money in this case . the media hyped the story most of us where concerned and to do nothing is not an option some have the good jobs hey

Deeperpo has some interesting comments. It is in we humans to do things at times in order to achieve a goal and when such people are recognised scientists we do generally believe whatever it is they are saying - well the vast majority of us do anyway. It's all part of our life, but fortunately there are those who do question what has been said in greater depth and we should all be thankful that they are among us. Businesses do play a huge part in the running of our countries and will forever do so. I for one am grateful that there are those out there who are capable of keeping them under surveillance and we should thank them for doing a job that most of us would find impossible.
