Question: I have the swine flu and i have a question. can someone help me?

What are the instructions for the tamiflu tablets? and the directions for the Tussionex Pennkinetic susp (liquid)? I lost the directions for both of those...it says take one teaspoonful twice a day but I don't know if it is okay to take with food or not. I know that some medicines won't be as effective if taken with food (like tamiflu tablets). So, is the liquid okay to take with food or not? I'll be sure to choose a best answer. Thank you everyone ahead of time! :) (by the way, is it okay to take the tamiflu and the liquid together? not literally but as in take the liquid, swallow. Then take the pill.)

I have had Swine flu and was on tamiflu, not the liquid though. The directions for the tamiflu was to take AFTER EATING due to the side effects it can cause ( vomiting etc) where food can ease the side effects. As for the liquid i would advise to the same as, there would be no harm in doing so. Taking them together i do not know, im not a doctor however so call your doctor or visit a pharmacy and ask them.

Tamiflu asn't been shown to help swine flu. It is believed to be a placebo. a Swiss company that makes it is being sued at the moment by european governements
